Six slides over music. A Stronger Voice for Ward 1, Chris Adams, Candidate for Councillor. New governments often come in promising sweeping changes. That’s not what I’m offering. Keep what works. Improve what doesn’t. Plan for what’s next. What I’ll work on: roads and commuting; taxes and value; growth and housing; Calabogie; waterfront and village; short-term rentals; communication and transparency; Hurds Lake, Springtown and our rural areas; a community for families. A neighbour, not a politician

I am an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by trade. My career began in the Canadian Armed Forces.

I have worked around the world, managed maintenance departments, and for 12 years owned and operated a business at the Carp Airport. That work taught me the importance of staying inside a budget, which is what I intend to bring to Council.
